I'm a big fan of Amish Country Popcorn kernels, so it saddens me to leave this review. Their popcorn kernels are high quality, so I bought the seasoning to go along. Unfortunately, this seasoning was a disappointment and will be going in the trash. It tastes fake, even smells fake. Which surprised me because the ingredients seem simple enough- sugar, brown sugar, nonfat dry milk- are the first three ingredients. However, I don't know if it's the 'less than 2% silicon dioxide added to prevent caking' that makes it taste Off. I found it to be unpalatable. The plastic jar's lid has both a pour and sprinkle option. Be careful though, the sprinkle side comes out very fast. Even when I used the product sparingly, I did not like the taste. I will continue to buy Amish Country Popcorn kernels, but will make the effort to boil sugar for caramel instead.

I bought this as I don't like the sticky caramel on my hands when eating popcorn but I love the taste of it! This is very easy to use: just pour on top of the just cooked popcorn and mix it. It does not stick as much as liquid caramel and still has a good taste. It's also probably less sweet as there is less quantity of sugar and butter. Great quality and package is easy to use and close. The size looks big enough to make 8 to 10 big bowls of popcorn so I would say it's a good value for money
